Axial spherical roller bearings can support extremely high axial loads in one direction while supporting high radial loads at the same time.
They consist of solid shaft locating and housing locating washers with a single-row specially designed raceway as well as asymmetric barrel rollers with cages. They are self-aligning and can compensate misalignments of the shaft relative to the housing. The bearing itself can be dismantled easy as the bearing parts can be installed separately from each other.
